Tasting notes :
Colour : old gold with topaz and copper highlights.
Nose : refined and precise, evoking dried violet, honey, marzipan and candied fruit. Notes of wax, fine wood and sweet spices complete a delicate bouquet, marked by the sensuality of fully mature Borderies.
Palate : caressing on the palate, revealing a silky and enveloping texture. Notes of hazelnut, liquorice, orange blossom and fine leather intertwine.
Finish : long, smooth and persistent, leaving an impression of honey and dried flowers.
Grape variety : Ugni blanc.
Cru : Borderies.
Ageing : minimum 45 years in French oak barrels (Tronçais forest).
